What it takes to create a successful Social Media Campaign?
My work on social media campaigns has taught me what it takes to make these efforts a success. I feel the key to a successful social media campaign is a combination of the following: A sound understanding of branding, being aware of the media usage, especially new media since it changes constantly and finally the knowledge of the platform and software to build interesting applications that can work on the web and on phones.
Campaigns need to ensure a high level of engagement and provide the prospects an opportunity to interact directly with brands. It must allow them to provide feedback, ask questions, and understand the product better.
Social media campaigns, I believe are best planned in-house. There is no one who knows and can take charge of your brand like you can. The time spent by the company resource would be considered valuable. Execution of a plan is a great challenge, especially for the larger companies.
